Supermarkets for purchasing food can be found in the village of Platanos, 25 km from the village, about a half hour’s drive, as well as in Kissamos, about 35 km distance and a 45-minute drive from the village. In Platanos you can also fill up on gas for your car.

In Kefali there is a minimarket for edible goods, and a gas station can be found in the village of Elos, on the road to Milia and the observation post of the gypaetus at Agios Dikeos mountain.
