A visit to the Afratolakos beach - very close tο villas Neptune and Calypso - is exceptional. Leave your car at the Agria Fysi tavern, where you can order the food that Giorgos will prepare for you. Next walk up to the small port and the beach , ask Giorgos how to get to the church of Agios Paraskevi - a small Byzantine temple in a landscape of exceptional beauty.

At a small distance from the villas, the village Kambos and its two tavernas are very good. At the taverna with the wooden balcony, ask for Lefteri, the owner, and at the taverna Sunset ask for Michalis.

Most of the tavernas in Hrysoskalitissa are made for tourism, but the locals prefer Tekaki taverna, the one with the grass on the left, just before the turnoff to Elafonisi. Here you should ask for the owner, Giorgo.

When in Kefali you should visit LEFTERIS taverna, the one that can be found in the center of the town square. Here you may sit on the balcony and enjoy the view to the sea.

If you wish to visit a fishing village to enjoy fresh fish, you must go to Sfinari village. At the last taverna on the beach, ask for Triantafyllo and order the grilled cuttlefish stuffed with cheese, which is exquisite when paired together with a fresh Greek salad and chilled retsina wine.
